Music and movies are obviously a big part of what we do here at Infidelity but there's often more to an install than meets the eye.

The ability to have all of your music & movies centrally located and accessible across the home is very appealing. Satellite TV, the DVD / Blu-Ray collection, your music library - can be available to you in as many rooms as necessary.

Ease of control comes up a lot too. Some of our clients prefer to use a classic 'remote', and for some systems this is the easiest and simplest way to give you control and with tablets and smartphones in many peoples hands, they invariably become the 'go-to' method of control for the smart home.

Here is a run down of how we approach Custom Installation here at Infidelity:

• Initial meeting & discussion of discovery: what you would like to achieve.
• Supply of site drawings and/or site visit to establish scale, layout & any existing provision. Broad budgetary guidance to be given.
• Creation of outline proposal for recommended systems, including equipment specifications and all costs.
• Further discussions in response to outline proposal that may lead to revisions to the outline proposal.
• Decision on whether to proceed. If positive, a full detailed proposal and design is developed, contract is sent for signing and a design deposit requested.
• Drawings for wiring and mechanical elements are issued by us to your architect / main contractor or electrician, along with installation cables.
• Site visits made by us to provide guidance and monitor cable installation by contractors.
• Stage payments requested, in line with our progress of the contract.
• On completion of 1st fix, cable verification & testing carried out by us.
• At the end of the final phase of the build we deliver, install and commission equipment. Testing of all system’s performance.
• Hand-over of systems – including user tutorials and provision of all associated documentation.
• Snagging & user chosen operational refinements completed. Retention sum released!
